The Motor City Pop Warner Chargers Organization is an affiliate of Pop Warner Little
Scholars and is seeking your support in providing football and cheerleading to the
youth of Northeast Detroit, Highland Park, and Hamtramck areas.
One of the biggest obstacles our organization faces is providing quality instruction
and learning experiences for all participants on a very limited budget. The ability to
meet the cost of operating and maintaining a quality football and cheerleading
program would not be possible without you, our community leaders.
Even though our organization has been around for five years, it has not operated as
functionally as it could due to limited available funds. We urgently are in need of
satisfactory equipment and uniforms for approximately 150 players and
cheerleaders. We recently acquired a storage facility to house the equipment in
anticipation of obtaining necessary funds to stock it adequately for all of our
participants. We are also in need of basic football necessities, to enhance the
quality of fundamental learning of the game.
Your donation will help fund the youth football camp, scholastic program, uniforms,
equipment, and league fees associated with the daily functional operations of the
organization. Because we are in a low income area, it is essential to keep the funds
for participation low, as not to exclude any willing participant or volunteer because
of finances. With assistance from you, this is a feasible endeavor and your donation
is 100% tax deductible.
